A 69-year-old man has died after being trapped inside a mobile crane that rolled into a culvert on the southern Gold Coast.
At about 8:30am emergency services were called to the Aqua Promenade address where the man had been working.
"The patient was trapped in that vehicle and unfortunately was unable to be revived and was declared deceased at the scene," Officer in Charge Coolangatta Ambulance Station Justin Payne said.
"The patient sustained a wide range of traumatic injuries and unfortunately we couldn't revive him here at the scene.
