Man hospitalised after alleged assault on the Gold Coast

A man has suffered head injuries in an alleged assault in Broadbeach Waters overnight.

Emergency services were called to Casino Drive around 9.30 pm, following reports of the altercation.

Paramedics treated a 22-year-old man briefly at the scene for head and face injuries, before taking him to the hospital for further treatment.
